These are some of the characteristics of dyslexia.
There are no universally agreed upon medical or psychological criteria for the diagnosis of dyslexia. Valid and widely recognized tests can eliminate many other possible causes of language learning problems. ParkAcademy staff are trained and qualified to administer testing to identify dyslexia. “Language based learning disability” and “language based learning difference” also describe the condition when the term dyslexia may sound frightening or carry incorrect, preconceived stigmas.
