Park Academy Students Oregon

Park Academy General Information

Park Academy is the only private school in the greater Portland area and the state of Oregon that serves students with dyslexia and other language learning differences in grades 4-12. Structured, sequential, simultaneous, multi-sensory teaching approaches, such as the Barton reading program, help students with dyslexia and other learning differences develop fundamental academic skills. The Academy offers a low student-to-teacher ratio with a complete range of core academic classes plus Theater, Spanish, American Sign Language, Visual Art , Yearbook, Music, and Physical Education.

Park Academy is located on the beautiful Marylhurst University campus about ten minutes south of downtown Portland. Park Academy is accredited with the Northwest Accreditation Commission and is a designated Subscriber School with Pacific Northwest Association of Independant Schools. These organizations provide both program oversight and professional development resources.
