Friday evening, October 1st, renowned recording artist Peter Yarrow, of Peter, Paul and Mary, rang out love all over Portland - and Park Academy - when he performed his legendary songs to benefit the work of Park Academy and Trillium Family Services. The concert took place in St. Anne's Chapel on the Marylhurst University Campus. Peter donated 100% of the proceeds from the concert to Park Academy and Trillium Family Services. He also donated an autographed guitar which he personally auctioned to the highest bidder during the concert. Old Town Music donated two additional guitars with cases and the kids from Park Academy and Trillium decorated a case each, and then the guitars and cases were raffled off during the concert. Peter is an extraordinary talent and a truly fantastic human being who cares deeply for children. It was a phenomenal event. Below are our Peter Yarrow Concert sponsors.
