High School Graduation Requirements

All core curricula will align with state standards and benchmarks. Students may earn credits through a demonstration of proficiency in core knowledge and skills.

Multi-sensory instructional approach is integrated throughout all core curricula:

If students successfully complete the following course of study they will be able to earn up to 30 credits; 24 credits are required to graduate.

  • Language Arts – 4
  • Science – 4
  • Math (Algebra I and above content) – 4
  • Social Science - 4
  • Health – 1
  • Life Skills – 1
  • World Language * – 4
  • Fine Arts – 3
  • Computer Technology -1
  • PE - 1
  • Electives – 3

*(Spanish is offered at Park Academy; however with Director approval, students may take another World Language through their neighborhood school or Community College).
