Park Academy is a college preparatory school for students challenged with dyslexia and other related language-based learning differences. Our extraordinarily committed staff offers educational support to students whose needs have not been met in a traditional school setting.

Testing – The Slingerland screening is designed to determine those with specific language disabilities (dyslexia). The screening not only identifies dyslexia but also helps identify strengths as well as weaknesses in each of the modalities that contribute to language learning: visual, auditory and kinesthetic-motor.

Non-Discrimination Policy – Park Academy recognizes the diversity and worth of all individuals and groups and their roles in society. It is the policy of the Park Academy Board that there will be no discrimination or harassment of individuals or groups on the grounds of age, color, creed, disability, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex or sexual orientation in any educational programs, activities or employment.
